New York: Actor, Director, Writer and Comedian Perry Strong released his new project Friday. 180 Seconds is a Black Scifi Covid-19 Comedy that follows a man on a narcissistic mission to travel six months into the past to warn himself not to get fat during the pandemic shutdown. It ends up becoming something much more substantial.
The funniest short of the year “180 Seconds" has gone viral and been viewed over 623,000 times on Perry Strong's Youtube channel. It’s been featured in Hollyshorts Film Festival (sept 2021), Just For Laughs, Atlanta Shorts Fest, Defy Film Festival, Chain NYC Film Festival, The ABFF Comedy Festival, The Pan African Film Festival, Chicago Comedy Film Festival, Dumbo Film Festival, Portland Comedy Film Festival, Pembroke Taparelli Arts & Festival, Chicago Shorts, The Coney Island Film Festival, shared by SNL Leslie Jones and Kevin Hart’s LOLNetwork & CodeBlack Films’ Social Media, has had a Casting Networks profile done on Perry Strong and the film, and lastly on the TV Show “In Godfrey We Trust: A Year In Review” which is currently streaming on The Peacock.
Perry is currently directing the web series Two Guys On A Bench with Comedian/Actor Greer Barnes, Shooting his new short You Forgot Something, and negotiating to get the rights to his favorite book to adapt into a feature film.
